The NIRA and
the College National Finals
Rodeo are proud to be associated
with the following national sponsors:
|
|
The
Wrangler
Brand involvement with the NIRA covers an
Officials Program, Officials Seminars, CNFR
support, co-sponsor of the CNFR telecast and an
advertising program. The Company, an apparel
manufacturer, has provided NIRA assistance since
1982.
The
heart of the program consists of an Officials
Program. Wrangler subsidizes judges fees at all
NIRA sanctioned rodeos, in addition to providing
support for the judges' fees and expenses at the
CNFR. The Wrangler Brand also funds eleven
Officials Seminars yearly that are designed to
maintain a high quality of officiating at the
NIRA rodeos. The vests worn by these officials
are provided by Wrangler as well.
The Wrangler/NIRA officials program assures quality
judging at college rodeos through regional
seminars and judge payment for each NIRA
approved rodeo.
Wrangler Brand also provides banners and posters
to the NIRA regions for promotional use at their
rodeos. |
RAM and RAM Rodeo is the official automotive sponsor of NIRA. The RAM brand sponsors over 500 rodeos each year through the PRCA,
NIRA, NHSRA, NLBRA as well as many other associations. RAM Rodeo has a 30+ year history of sponsoring rodeos in both the US and Canada.

The National Intercollegiate Rodeo
Association and the United States
Team Roping Championships (USTRC)
have joined forces in typical team
roping “partnership” fashion. The
partnership will involve supporting
the memberships of both
organizations. USTRC will award
Regional Finals Shoot-Out
positions/$1,000 in USTRC Flex
Earnings to the top three headers
and heelers in the final season
standings in all eleven NIRA
regions. They will also award a
National Finals Shoot-Out
position/$3,000 in USTRC Flex
Earnings to the top three teams in
the team roping event at the College
National Finals Rodeo. The only
stipulation for the awards will be
that the roper will need to be a
member of the USTRC prior to the
conclusion of their respective
regional rodeo season and the CNFR. |
